Guest blogger, Dusty Rhoades, has been Certified as a Transformative Mediator by the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation. He and his wife, Vicki, helped establish the Community Mediation Centers of St. Mary’s and Calvert County, Maryland. His mediation experience includes hundreds of cases involving family, community, District and Circuit Court, civil rights discrimination cases and Child in Need of Assistance foster care cases. Dusty has trained with leaders in the field of transformative mediation, including Baruch Bush, Joe Folger, Judy Saul, Louise Phipps Senft, Tom Wahlrab and Irv Foster. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School and the Defense Systems Management College, Program Manager’s Course. He is an Associate Fellow of the Society of Experimental Test Pilots. He and Vicki live in Sunderland, Maryland.
