Short Bio
Carol Bloom has been a professional mediator, facilitator and trainer in the U.S. and internationally for 20 years, using the Transformative Mediation model, and serves as a board member of the Institute for the Study of Conflict Transformation. Carol provides mediation, facilitation, team development, training, and conflict coaching to Federal, regional, and local government agencies, and commercial and nonprofit organizations in California, primarily in the SF Bay Area. She has trained and supervised mediators in the Netherlands in TM for 13 years and co-authored a Dutch book published in 2012: Reflections: The Practice of Transformative Mediation. Carol is also active in the field of transformative dialogue, bringing passion and commitment to her work in diversity and inclusion, cross-cultural and anti-racism groups, and transforming historical harms projects in the U.S. and internationally.
